Working in an insurance company is hard work. You need to be able to sell a certain number of insurance to people in order to reach your quota for some, while for others your salary will only go up if you can sell one. Selling insurances is not easy, and convincing an individual to buy an insurance from you is indeed hard. Some may not even pay attention to you and would decline the offer right away. To convince someone, you must learn how to earn their trust, and they will get interested in what you say eventually. It is either you sell one or you do not.

When you are new to a place, you would have to adjust with the new environment. Understand how their system work. Get some advice from your coworkers on how to sell. Reach out to your client and relate to them. Starting with small talk will always the best idea to connect to them, ask about their interest, lifestyle, family, and work. Doing so will kill the awkward vibe in the atmosphere. Speak with prospects. Make sure you listen to everything they say in order for them to feel valued.

Be persistent. While talent may prevail, success will come to those who keeps on persisting. Having the best talent will not be enough, you need to have persistence too or else your flame will burn. Be person who is always excited to go to work, serve individuals, and help families in planning for the future ahead with their finances. Rejections should be brushed off immediately.
