There is always need to differentiate well between what you want and what you need. In this stage, it is important to have an understanding of yourself or the person or group you are deciding for.

Having successfully undertaken the two steps, you are now required to carry out what you have decided completing the decision making process. Assertiveness is needed on the part of the decision maker. Similarly, good time management skills are put to the test.
