Statistics show that Port Orange face lift is the sixth most performed surgery after breast augmentation, liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast lift and blepharoplasty. It started in the 19s in Berlin where the first procedure was performed.

Since the first surgery more information and research has been done on the topic with the aim of improving results. One of the results of the many researches is the invention of several different procedures of facelift. The procedures are differentiated by the area to be treated, the invasiveness, and the type of incision. A single surgeon could specialize in several different procedures.

The decision on whether to or not to proceed with a procedure must be based on facts. It is for this reason that professionals suggest wide consultation from qualified surgeons. Consult people who are not experienced is risking life. An experienced professional will be able to explain in detail each procedure to their client. It will now be upon the patient to choose the procedure they want performed. When not sure then the medic can choose with the consent of the client.

When picking the type of surgery to go for there are some guiding factors to be followed. Some of the things to consider include age, recovery time, the expectations and area to be improved. It helps to know that despite the expectations cosmetic surgery does not prevent ageing. When carried out in a proper manner the result of a procedure lasts several years. Type of procedure and durability go hand in hand.

Rhytidectomy does not change the shape of the face. The main aim of the procedures is enhancing and rejuvenating natural facial structures of the patient. The structure of the face is only altered by implants but not by facelift. Provided it is done by a qualified surgeon then the patient has nothing to worry about.

Muscles underlying the face are tightened and lifted in most procedures. A smooth contour is left behind after the process. Most of the targeted muscles are pulled and tightened. A person also looks younger but retain the shape of their faces. When people age most of the face is covered with fats and loose skin. Facelift removes those fats and skin. Signs of scarring will not be visible if the process is done in accordance with the requirements.

Just like it takes care and maintenance to maintain everything so does it take to prolong the results of rhytidectomy. After surgery the face must be kept away from excess sun rays. Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen are a must have when venturing outdoors. Tanning is also to be avoided at all costs. A person who has had a facelift has higher chances of getting cancer and ageing faster when they tan.
